'Dancing With the Stars' fall 2010 lineup: Bristol Palin, Audrina Patridge and ...
ABC announced the cast for the 11th cycle of "Dancing With the Stars" Monday night with a live press conference during "Bachelor Pad" -- confirming most of the names floated in the past couple weeks and also adding a couple new ones to the mix.Let's meet the cast, shall we?
The press conference kicks off with the women:
Jennifer Grey, who will always be Baby (but never in a corner) for us
Audrina Patridge, coming down out of "The Hills" and onto the dance floor.
Florence Henderson, aka Carol Brady.
Margaret Cho, outspoken comedian and right-hand woman to the "Drop Dead Diva."
Brandy Norwood, Grammy winner and sometime reality star.
Bristol Palin, mother.
After two commercial breaks and two more "Bachelor Pad" segments, we get to the men. They are:
David Hasselhoff, "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch" star, pop singer, cheeseburger aficionado. Can he best his former co-star Pam Anderson's performance from the spring edition?
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, known for having abs.
Rick Fox, who has three NBA championship rings and five episodes of "One Tree Hill" to his credit.
Michael Bolton, best-selling adult-contemporary singer/easy punchline.
Kyle Massey, the star of Disney Channel's "Corey in the House."
Kurt Warner, recently retired (sorry, Arizona Cards fans) NFL quarterback and former Super Bowl MVP.
There you have it, folks. What do you think of the new cast? Will you be watching on Sept. 20?

bristol seems like a bit of a hypocrie now. she claims she dumped levy again because of his drive for celebrity, and then she signs on to dancing with the stars? very hypocritical. i felt for her at the time but unless there is strong evidence to the contrary it seems like she also has a derire for further celebrity. otherwise why do a show like this?
Word, rob, word.
i agree with rob
David Hasselhoff, Audrina , The Situation and Kurt Warner are some of my favorites to see on the new season of DWTS.
Shouldn't ABC be forced to tell us who they DON'T consider a star? It's got to be a mighty short list.
I'm having trouble deciding who I'll pull for. Yes, agree that these "celebrities" are pretty entertaining. But most of them annoy me. So by the third week or so, I might just be tuning out.
I really get tired of hearing about Bristol, it's getting old, the unwed 17 year old mother who is raising her baby alone. [poor me]. I think she is the only one in America that is doing that - NOT! And now she can't even keep her legs closed for a second time ~ Dancing w/ the Stars needs to be renamed.....Dull & Boring.
I've found in past seasons that stars I thought would annoy me--the Osmonds, for example--were actually very entertaining and they kept me watching, while other people I tuned in to watch specifically were kind of boring or whiny or both. Maybe The Hoff will be less icky and more endearing when he's reacting to Bruno's compliments than he was on America's Got Talent and he had free reign to talk.
Then again, I refused to watch last season solely because Kate Goslin was on it, so maybe my opinion doesn't count.
Normaly there is alawys at least one "Star" who you knew could dance to begin with. I'm worried that everybodys gonna suck. I'll be rooting for Margret Cho!!
The Worst Cast Ever. No way will I waste my time!
