'Cougar Town': Jennifer Aniston joins Courteney Cox for Season 2 premiere
Not to be let down by recent box office showings, Jennifer Aniston is returning to TV for a mini-"Friends" reunion on "Cougar Town." ABC confirms the actress is set to appear with former co-star Courteney Cox on the Sept. 22 premiere. This is good news for showrunner Bill Lawrence, who brought up the possibility of Aniston guesting before ever actually addressing it with her.
"I announced last year that Jennifer was going to be on the show, but I hadn't really talked to her people, or to her," Lawrence recently told Zap2it. "Jennifer and Courteney are actually friends in real life, and they have this great chemistry... I'd kill to see them do comedy again."
Hopefully no one was actually harmed in the brokering of this deal.
