'Chuck' pics: First look at Linda Hamilton, plus more Olivia Munn
We're now less than three weeks away from the return of "Chuck," and NBC has released a few more pictures from the season premiere -- including the first shots of Linda Hamilton as Chuck's (Zachary Levi) mom.That's Mama Bartowski up above, of course, looking much as she did in the show's on-air promo from a few weeks ago. We're going to go ahead and guess that she's in a lair of some sort, given the big computer desk and dim lighting. We don't yet know much about what she's up to, but it appears she does know how to handle a gun. We'd expect nothing less from the original Sarah Connor.
The new batch of photos also includes our first look at Casey (Adam Baldwin) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) in Season 4. Chuck himself is no longer a government employee as the season starts, but Sarah and Casey are, and we're assuming the private jet they're on in the shot below has something to do with work.
Finally, we have a couple more shots of Olivia Munn as CIA operative "Greta," who's undercover as a Nerd Herd employee at the Buy More. As in the first-look photos we posted last week, she's interacting with Chuck and Morgan (Joshua Gomez) -- but take a look at the background in the last shot as well, because we think it offers further evidence that the Buy More is now an agency front. See that woman in the Buy More sales uniform? Yeah -- we don't remember any greenshirts looking like that in the past.
"Chuck" premieres Monday, Sept. 20 on NBC. Follow Zap2it and Zap2itRick on Twitter and Zap2it on Facebook for the latest TV, movie and celebrity news.

"...who's undercover as a Nerd Herd employee at the Buy More."
As someone who's never seen the show I had to read that clause over and over before I finally understood it -- and started laughing! (I assume "Nerd Herd" is like "Geek Squad" and "Buy More" like "Best Buy".) It's almost enough to make me check out the show... the basic premise of the show sounded to stupid to me, but is there a lot of funny/clever stuff like this in it?
@Lost after LOST---Check it out it's a great show.It has action,comedy,romance,good music and a great cast.
@Lost After LOST, you have to watch it. I thought it looked really stupid too at first, but it's actually surprisingly clever and complex. The writers are amazing. Just go into it expecting to enjoy a lot of silliness rather than be annoyed by it :)
@Lost After LOST - The pilot and several episodes from seasons one and two are free to watch online at the WB.com. Several season 3 episodes are available on hulu and NBC.com. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
So this is why Olivia hasn't been on AOTS lately! Olivia come back, we miss you!
How OLD does Linda Hamilton look?! She appears to be around 70 even though she's only in her mid-50s. Talk about not taking care of yourself...
Still think Lynda Carter would have been the better choice.
Wow... Linda Hamilton doesn't look so good these days. They couldn't find someone else to take this role??
Looking forward to see how Chuck continues his spy work. Was disappointed when he quit last season! Can't wait to see the new episodes. Been watching season 1 and 2 over the summer!
At Chuck's panel at Comic Con this year, they did, in fact, say that the Buy More was now run by the government, and thus its employees.
They also said that Greta (played by Olivia Munn above) actually changes from episode to episode as sort of a running gag. One week it might be Olivia Munn, the next it might be some huge stocky man.
She does look a bit old, maybe even too old to be married to Chuck's Dad (yes, an unfair double standard:) ). I think the fans that wanted Linda Hamilton for the role had the image of her in T2 frozen in their minds. Sorry folks, age happens (if you're lucky). I don't care a bit, I think she'll be great and I'm really looking forward to season 4 (and of course, a back nine addition).
