Bret Michaels' 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn' on 'America's Got Talent'
Bret Michaels, riding the wave of his "Celebrity Apprentice" win and "American Idol" finale appearance, graced the stage of "America's Got Talent" during the Wednesday (Aug. 4) results show.He performed his classic power ballad "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" amid screams and applause. "Rose" was a hit for his band Poison in 1988, when it rose to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It also was named No. 34 on VH1's "100 Greatest Songs of the 80s" and No. 3 on the "Top 25 Power Ballads" list.
What's next for Bret? Well, he won't be judging "American Idol," as was talked about for much of the summer. Our sources tell us that Steven Tyler is most likely the rocker to be signed and if he doesn't work out a deal, then the judging seat will fall to Harry Connick Jr.

Well, American Idol's lost a loyal viewer in me. I don't want to look at Steven Tyler's too many plastic surgeries face! I don't like Harry Connick Jr's slightly arrogant/fake attitude.
If there's no Bret Michaels as a judge, there's no more me as a loyal viewer who's watched every show of every season. Goodbye, AI!
Even though I have loved Aerosmith for years, I would much prefer Harry Connick, Jr. as the replacement judge on AI over Steven Tyler. He has much more to offer and has a far richer/wider background of experience to employ as he judges.
