'America's Got Talent': Leann Rimes channels Annette Funicello on results show
The beach may be a long way off from that country porch she's singing about, but Leann Rimes is clearly aware of how nice she looks in a bikini.
During the "America's Got Talent" results show, the country star made a play to erase several years of bad press by peeling off a few layers and playing a round of beach blanket bingo -- to varying degrees of success.
Performing her cover of John Anderson's "Swingin,'" from her 2010 album "Lady and Gentlemen," she bounced around the stage while dancers attempted to recreate what looked a scene from "Where The Boys Are."
Barely out of breath after getting tossed around by men in board shorts and riding a beached surf board, she offered her advice to the semi-finalists: "Believe in what you can do." Even if all you can do is stand around and watch your dog unsuccessfully attempt to play the accordion.

Of course she took off her clothes, her album and single are not doing very well.
She has pimped out the married man's kids like crazy on her twitter page and that has backfired.
Is that desperation I smell? Since her CD has tanked she had better find another source of income soon. Eddie is probably out scouting his next meal ticket, alimony and child support isn't cheap.
John Anderson's "Swingin" is a great song. thanks for messing it up Leann. WTH does the beach have to do with the song.

Perhaps what Leann should learn to believe in is REMORSE and compassion.
Is she doing the peace sign? Check out those photos of BG and EC from STAR? Now you know. LR is doing that just to taunt BG because EC is giving the peace sign in that photo and he was sleeping with LR while he was out kissing and partying with his wife.
To LR pr person: Wasn't LR playing the holy Christian card when she stood on a stage and said let God take care of revenge all while she was still sleeping with a married man? Does Leann say God Bless you, even though she has not shown any remorse for what she did? Leann does need to grow up, if LR has EC, why does she keep acting like she is competion with BG?
Kelly, it doesn't. I think the bikini has something do with the backlash from those photos of her making out with EC in front of his kids(like she is saying she can do whatever she wants) and mocking the court systems. Someone said that she is going on a vacation with EC. EC wife asked how in the world is this man going on all these trips when he hasn't even paid child support. So LR might be taking a swipe at BG again.
The thing is - the two piece doesn't make any sense to the context of the song (which was a lot better in its original form.)
I don't have problems with what has happened in her personal life - people don't always find the right person the first time.
I just think her singing THIS song in THIS bathing suit at THIS time is strange.
Wow, that was awful....next stops for her should be county fairs and chili cook-offs.
Thought Leann Rime's outfit was utterly ridiculous and extremely tacky!! What in the world does THAT song have to do with the beach? Absolutely nothing. She could have worn a coverup over the bikini or a short little sundress, but a bikini? Come on! I'm not a prude or anything but thought it was totally inappropriate for her to come out and perform in that outfit. And people want to slam Lady Gaga for what she wears? As far as I'm concerned Leann and Lady Gaga are on an even playing field.
