Adam Lambert's tongue diving: Zap2it commenters react

"American Idol" finalist Adam Lambert started a new trend on Tuesday, Aug. 17 -- tongue diving. He reached into a crowd of fans at one of his tour shows and exchanged a few smoochies with them -- one guy and one girl, by the looks of it. Zap2it commenters reacted strongly:
Kerry: THIS WAS SOOO HOT!! Adam is a rock star! Elvis did it and Adam is compared to Elvis and it was his own show (for fans not critics or haters) IF ELVIS CAN DO IT...ADAM CAN DO IT
Susan: Adam can dive into me anyday!!!! I am ready! He's HOT stuff!! And that orgasamic voice is unbelievable!
Michelle: Lucky fans! I boy and a girl who he met at the meet and greet before the show. His voice on that video is freaking amazing!

Kitty: the guy and gal he kissed were two fans he had met at a meet and greet earlier. It is called a good show and I was there.He sure can sang. It's rock n roll and I like it, I like it.
Anonymous: Further evidence of how desperate Lambert is to remain in the spotlight, particularly when one considers just how imbecilic his fans are.
Lanie: How disgusting. He sings great, but yuck to the tongue diving. That is just going too far.

Give me a break!! Other artist having been doing this or worse for years and nothing is said about it. Look at Elvis, he kissed the whole front row of woman at one of his concerts. Some people can't stand that Adam is as successful as he is and just have to do some bashing to make them feel better. Oh, and Adam can tongue me anytime he wants!!!
I love the tongue diving. Adam is a free spirit, and he wanted to continue the fan interaction after the meet and greet, big deal. I never questioned the history of people I shared a lil tongue with, when I was single. What's the big deal?

He isn't going to "tongue dive" every show obviously. But, if we are lucky we might get another one in somewhere. His fans are not idiots as one person here in the comments has said. We did a thread on his AO page about our vocations and you would be surprised how many lawyers, nurses, teachers, etc. love Adam. I think he attracts open-minded people that see him as a very talented person who likes to have fun. Have you seen what the girl pop tarts are doing lately? It's all in the name of Rock and Roll. Loosen up and roll in the glitter. Life is short.
WAIT Somebody tell Sandra Bullock no more kissing on tv awards shows. Ditto: movies, broadway shows, videos, first dates (or any dates), in fact, just OUTLAW kissing altogether. Or does it only apply to gay men?

Ditto to Ali's comments. Is the US going backwards? Used to be the frontrunner for rock & roll, social change, civil rights, freedom of speech, etc. I bet that most people criticizing Adam Lambert have never taken the time to listen to his many interviews to the media or listen to his debut CD or seen one of his shows. Take the time to do so before commenting on a single moment in what was a great show for the fans. You may also want to check out his amazing musicians and dancers. All professionals.
whatever you say, Adam Lambert is amazing!!!!! I don't care about the kiss, I love his music.
