'90210' spoiler: Season 3's gay hottie revealed

After finding out that "90210" is going the gay route again, we were a bit scared for them.
When Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) rode the gay train for a few episodes in Season 2 then got off at heterosexual station again, many fans and critics were not pleased by the message that sent about sexuality.
But according to The CW, this time it's the real deal and now we can reveal who it is.
A source close to the production confirms to Zap2it that Trevor Donovan's character, Teddy Montgomery, is the male character who is coming out in Season 3.
Our choices for the character who will be coming out were Navid (Michael Steger), Liam (Matt Lanter) and Teddy. In our poll asking whom Zap2it readers believed the gay character would be, the No. 1 choice was Teddy at 55% of the vote. Nice job, Zappers!
In the Season 2 finale, we watched Teddy get back together (again) with Silver (played by Jessica Stroup), so we're interested to see how the writers will spin that storyline. We hear rehearsals between Donovan and his love interest, played by Kyle Riabko (as reported by EW), are currently underway.
We reached out to The CW for a statement, but they were unable to respond to us before the article posted. We'll update when they do.

I`m just happy that its not liam; i would of had an heart attack
I look forward to seeing how the show handles the storyline. I've not been a fan of the reboot, only tuning in for episodes that have featured Kelly, Brenda, and Donna - but this gay storyline definitely has me interested. Hope they don't mess it up.
I'm glad because I like Liam with Annie and Navid with Adrianna. The last one is like the power couple of the show. I don't really care how they take the gay-storyline. They had their chance with Adrianna and now they try to get it right again? That's just sad. But I'm glad they are sticking with it at least.
I'm so glad Teddy's gay. I want Silver with Dixon now and Ivy can go with Oscar :)
