WoW, Wipeout is up almost a million viewers from last Thursday. Both Rookie Blue and Boston Med held steady or is Boston Med actually up??? Either way both were fantastic. Rookie Blue has the potential to be huge and easily the top new scripted show.
I wonder how Rookie Blue would do if it was picked up as a mid-season replacement. Despite awful reviews it is holding up quite well. Not suprised that Wipeout is doing well. It is perfect entertainment for the summer. Better than just reruns. Glad to see the fresh programing is paying off for them. CBS does better with reruns.
The best new show on all of television this summer is Boston Med. Frankly, I'm surprised it's pulling this big of an audience. I didn't think a documentary medical show could be successful on a major broadcast network and 5.4 million is very successful, especially when you compare it to ratings for most of the new shows airing this summer. Even it is beating the ratings of all the new shows on NBC and most of the new ones on FOX except for SYTYCD which nipped it by a hair, 5.8 vs 5.4 million viewers. I hope Boston Med continues to grow this summer. How awesome would it be to have a high caliber show such as that to wind up being the most watched show of the summer. Granted Rookie Blue is going to be tough to beat if it continues to be steady or show growth.
I'm impressed with the new shows on Thursadys that ABC has been putting out, but to still be beat by reruns on CBS is never a good thing. NBC...well, I rest my case on them. They are just awful!
Where are the b!tchy remarks from Rena Moreidiot? I always get a laugh from her ridiculously outdated ideas about how television works in the new millennium!
