Much of the TV-watching public apparently had better things to do Sunday night, as ratings across the board were pretty soft.

Someone had to win, though, and thanks to "60 Minutes" and "Big Brother" that was CBS, which averaged 6.4 million viewers and a 4.0 rating/7 share in households for the evening. NBC (4.9 million, 3.2/6) came in second, beating out ABC (4.1 million, 2.5/5). FOX trailed the overall race with 3.1 million viewers and a 1.8/3.

Despite finishing fourth in viewers, though, FOX's comedy lineup scored the highest adults 18-49 rating of the night -- although it was only a 1.4. CBS took second at 1.3, followed by NBC, 1.2, and ABC, 1.1.

Sad how people watched the stupid Big Brother show, poor kacjie Chan, she has to sleep with the old man and all she got was a boring summer show, good for the menatlly challenged, poor thing.

CBS needs a trendy host for Big Brother, Jackie Chan is like a 40 some year old, who is hosting an MTV type show, poor loser, she thinks since she is 30 years younger than daddy that she is still young. PoorThing!

how about bruce lee?

What does Bruce Lee have to do with this, weird!

its so sad, M EOW/DONNA is so jealous of julie chen, it clearly shows by her remarks, and thats THE TRUTH...

It wasnt a soft night for HBO I can ssure you

Oh, and that Brendon guy is SO HOT. Wish my bf looked like that. And that is The Truth.

Yeh :Preta jjust has too limited a view of the TV landscape. Haha lol por thing. So sad.

you said it meo w, sad how preta is just not thinking outside of the box, she always posts networth ratings! at least she decided to come to work and not have an intern do her job, like most mondays!

I can't stand Law and Order CI. Ever since Goren and Eames left, it isn't the same. NBC keeps pushing it, but I don't watch it!
