'True Blood' poll: Which monster match are you rooting for most?

On Sunday's (July 18) episode of "True Blood," things went to hell in a hand basket pretty fast, but there were some rays of light.

First, the bad news: Eric discovered that he and Russell may have met in his past life and it wasn't a joyful introduction. It's also getting very close to the deadline that The Magister gave Eric for bringing back Bill and Russell is in no hurry to help. Poor Pam. And after meeting with the "packmaster," Sookie and Alcide realize that all roads lead back to Russell.

On the other hand, we saw lots of love blossom in the same episode. Jesus (played by Kevin Alejandro) stopped by Merlotte's to claim him some Lafayette. The mysterious Crystal (Lindsay Pulsipher) found herself arrested by a shirtless Jason Stackhouse. And Franklin proved he's crazy in love with Tara (OK, so maybe she wasn't exactly swept off her feet - at least not of her own free will) with an unexpected proposal. Also, Sam may have found a new buddy in little bro, Tommy. Plus, Terry and Arlene, who he thinks is his baby-mama, took their relationship to the next level by moving in together.
