'The X Factor': Nicole Scherzinger as a judge in the U.S.?

"The X Factor" is set to launch its U.S. version in the fall of 2011 and according to Radar Online, Nicole Scherzinger has the "inside track" on a spot on the judges' panel.Scherzinger will fill in for the pregnant Dannii Minogue on the British talent show when an audition episode tapes next week and an insider tells Radar that if she does well, it will give her a leg up on the U.S. version when the panel is being put together.
Nicole recently won "Dancing With the Stars," she was a Pussycat Doll member and she has a bit of judging experience from NBC's "The Sing Off," the a capella competition show that aired last December.
What do you think about Nicole as a judge? Paula Abdul is another name that has been tossed about, but is there room for the two of them or will the show follow the typical male-female-male format?

I thought she was a horrible judge on The Sing-Off, especially in comparison to Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman who offered far more constructive and specific critiques.
she's awful, just awful.
I thought she did very well she was honest and had fun so I believe she will do just fine in any judging postion.

I thought Nicole was a very good judge for the Sing Off - although I agree she did not provide as much constructive feedback as the other two judges, she provided coherent feedback - which is more than could be said for Paula, Kara, or Ellen from Idol fame. And she has legitimate talent as a singer and dancer. Paula was/is a great dancer/choreographer and Kara is a so-so writer. Ellen is a great talk show host, but not skilled or qualified to judge talent. And as a guy, I would definitely tune in to watch Nicole over those other three any day!
