Zap2it On the Scene: Summer Press Tour 2010
'The Big Bang Theory': Sheldon 'getting it on,' William Shatner and Comic-Con
"The Big Bang Theory" cast and producers kick off the 2010 TCA Summer Press Tour Wednesday, July 28 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.Wifi problems and all, we're live-blogging it.
9:16 a.m. - After a brief sizzle reel, actors Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, along with EPs Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady are on stage. Cuoco's got some major wedges on.
9:17 a.m. - This coming fall, they're moving to a new day and time, the fourth time in four years.
9:19 a.m. - Kaley Cuoco jokes that she doesn't know what's going on with contract negotiations and that next year apparently she's working for free.
9:20 a.m. - Discussion of dirty balls on set. We're talking about the plastic balls they dived into.
9:22 a.m. - Parsons loves Comic-Con, but seeing the thousands of Sheldon t-shirts was a little disturbing. About the "Big Bang" fans: "They're the sweetest, least psychotic bunch of people I've ever met."
9:24 a.m. - Next season, producer Chuck Lorre confirms that Apple guy Steve Wozniak will be on. Lorre also defends Wil Wheaton's guest turn, but admits that he's "evil" for trying to break up Penny and Leonard.
9:28 a.m. - Neil Tyson, who demoted Pluto from planet status, from the Hayden Planetarium, had passed along an idea how he could be on the show.
9:29 a.m. - William Shatner may not be dropping by since there's a "reality" issue that needs to be dealt with since he's now playing a fictional character on the show following "Big Bang."
9:30 a.m. - Questioner asks Kunal Nayyar about Asian Indians "or whatever," but Nayyar's cool about it. He says his people are ready to take over the world, beginning with the increased presence in entertainment.
9:31 a.m. -Where Helberg finds his clothes: boys XL, Urban Outfitters
9:34 a.m. - Will Sheldon get it on? Parsons isn't sure, but Prady says he'll "have a very specific relationship." Hmm, teasery!
9:35 a.m. - Cuoco says she's always suprising when a show she's on is a success.
9:37 a.m. - With the new timeslot, Prady says it's almost like relaunching.
9:41 a.m. - Prady: Penny is domesticating Leonard.
9:46 a.m. - Leonard was designed to be the one torn between two worlds.

This is one of the funniest shows on TV... I liked the old time frame better, but whatever it is, I'm a huge fan. I can't wait to see Sheldon get an emmy. They all deserve one. Fabulous writing.
The Big Bang Theory is the brightest and lightest thing to come along in an eon of time. It is pure humor with a slight truthfulness to it. Super over-achievers that can't realy meld into society but try. The trials and tribulations are the best. I just wish it was on earlier in the evening. I work damn hard and miss it most of the time due to falling asleep from exhaustion.
BAZINGA!!
I love this show, every week i laugh
out loud. Only BBT and Modern Family
really make me laugh and are my only
2 must sees.
A little less Sheldon, a little more everyone else please.
