'The Bachelor's' Tenley Molzahn on Jake and Vienna split: 'It takes two to tango'
Tenley Molzahn admits the Jake-and-Vienna exit interview was "hard to watch."That's understandable, since she was let go by Jake Pavelka when he chose Vienna Girardi in the March season finale of ABC's "The Bachelor." Molzahn watched with millions of others Monday (July 5) when the now-finished couple talked about their torpedoed relationship on "The Bachelorette."
"It is a breakup, and people are dealing with their personal feelings," Molzahn tells Zap2it. "I've never done a breakup on TV, but I think they've got it taken care of now. I think that's what they needed to do, and hopefully, they both can move on and recover from this and go in the directions they plan on going."
While there's no knowing if it might have ended the same way had she been Jake's chosen one instead, Molzahn reflects, "I wouldn't say whether it was his or her fault. It takes two to tango. I had peace on that day (when Jake said goodbye). It wasn't at a point where I felt a need to get on my knees and say, 'Please! Pick me!' I'd already had my goodbye, and I was just so sad for them."
With all of Jake and Vienna's headline-making, Tenley has been chatted up about it ... a lot. "It's been crazy," she says with a chuckle. "I feel like I'm back on the show, though you haven't seen my face or heard my name brought up. There's my tie to Ali (Fedotowsky, the current 'Bachelorette'), so people want to know about her, and then there's Jake and Vienna.
"People have said some very kind things to me, but I think it's too bad. It's like Jillian and Ed (Harris and Swiderski, the previous `Bachelorette' couple, whose breakup has just become public). If a relationship isn't going to work out, better to end it now than later."
Molzahn is one of the 19 returnees from past "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" seasons involved in "Bachelor Pad," an ABC spinoff series premiering Monday, Aug, 9. Romantic rumors have been swirling about her and fellow returnee Kiptyn Locke, of last season's "Bachelorette."
"He and I are great friends," Molzahn says. "When my show finished airing, he reached out to me; he was in a similar position months before, as the one who wasn't chosen by Jillian. He's an awesome, awesome guy. I don't know if we're dating yet, but I wouldn't mind it some day!"

I would have asked her to shutup a lot sooner than Jake did. Also Jake will do fine, people are fickle!!
OMG what a drama queen!! Neither one of them came out on top, but Vienna should learn to keep her mouth shut and give Jake a chance to say his side of the story. He did look hurt at times, but she is just an actress through and through.

At first I really liked Jake, then he seemed to be all over the tabloides. As for Vienna, well that's Karma. All the girls told Jake about her, he didn't listen. He liked those Barbie doll blondes and got what he chose. Looks good on him, thank god Ali and Tenely where spared.
