Ratings: Ladies love 'The Client List,' 'Rizzoli & Isles' holds strong
Don't cry, Love. Playing a prostitute and wearing a jumpsuit earned your Lifetime original movie some pretty impressive numbers.
Jennifer Love Hewitt's "The Client List" averaged a whopping 3.9 million viewers in its first airing, making it the second most-watched cable movie of 2010. The story of a down-on-her-luck mom who turns to hookin', "CL" also features Cybill Shepherd in the role of Love's mom. (Personally, we think she would have been better cast as a no-nonsense madam, but we'll take our Cybill where we can get her.)
All in all, Monday night was a big one for those with a double dose of the X chromosome. Freshman TNT drama "Rizzoli & Isles" brought in 7.3 million viewers for its second episode -- that's just a 4 percent drop from last week's 7.6 million premiere. Stars Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander even managed to trump their "Closer" lead-in, which had a slightly larger drop in total viewers down to 7 million.

I thought last night's Rizzoli's ep was actually better (storyline wise) than the previous week's.
So happy Rizzoli and Isles is kicking *** in the ratings!!!
The "Closer/R&I" combination is perhaps the best combo TNT has done. No wonder the ratings soar.
These two ladies are great, i love their shows but also watched them on their previous shows. still watch the reruns too. i hope these two make a good cop show im addicted to them and great to see women starring. you go girls.
I really enjoyed The Client List. It was a good flick. Jennifer Love Hewitt is a great actress.
Now we know that JLH is awful -- JettaJameson likes her. That says everything.
Why is it that women like brainless shows?
I wasn't planning to watch R&I just because I already feel like I have too many cop shows in my DVR list! I need more happy shows! BUT, after saying that, I did get around to watching it sometime during it's first week or showing, and darn it--I thought it was great. It's now been officially added to my record list, and I always enjoy the Closer. Why does Sasha Alexander look so familiar? I'm sure she's been on lot's of stuff, but I keep thinking Greys Anatomy? Could someone also please post the reviews/results/ratings of some of the other new summer shows? Seems like focus is always on the favorites and I would like to know how some of the newbies are doing.
Sasha Alexander played Kate on NCIS. She was in the first season. Loved her in that.
