'Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale answers fan questions

lucy-hale-pretty-little-liars-interview-320.jpgAfter "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale dished the dirt on Aria and Mr. Fitz, the Montgomery family and Officer Wilden's return, she fielded some fan questions submitted to Zap2it via Twitter.

@ErDisney:

Has she stayed in touch her "American Juniors" costars?

"The one that I mostly keep up with is Katelyn Tarver ... she's working on her music, she's so talented. I still talk to Danielle (White) and Tori and Taylor (Thompson) every now and then. Then the others -- we have each other's Facebooks and Twitters, like very lightly keep in touch. It seems like everyone's doing really well."

@jennifermarie99

Who is your style inspiration?

"I am sort of all over the place. I see something and buy it. I don't have a signature look that I like ... I love shoes. It's just sort of whatever I think is cute. I look at girls my age in magazines and on the streets and see what they wear. I love fashion, but I don't know how I would describe my style."

Advice 4 aspiring actors?

"Definitely just take every opportunity you can get. Every audition, every acting class. You never know what small thing -- there;s no small job. You never know what opportunities can come from something. Take advice but try to ignore the negative, if that makes sense? Take the negative advice and learn from it, but brush off the stuff ... stay smart, stay grounded and be very grateful."

Watch Lucy Hale every Tuesday night on "Pretty Little Liars" at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.

Maryann, I couldn't agree with you more!

This is in regards to Lucy Hale on Pretty Little Liars. I do NOT like the story of her, being a 16 yr. old, having a relationship with her TEACHER. What a story line for young girls! Not right. I don't like the new LESBIAN scenes either. If these girls were in college, these story lines would be fine, but they are supposedly 16 and in high school, for goodness sake. Let's also not forget the story of the one sister kissing her sister's fiance. Once again, these young girls are put in these ADULT story lines. Just not appropriate at all.

No offense Maryann and I respect your opinion, but even though many people don't want to address these issues, these things do happen in teenagers' lives. As much as we wouldn't like it to happen, teenagers do sometimes fall for their teachers. I can't tell you how much the lesbian storyline is going to help so many teenage girls with embracing, or at least understanding, their sexual identity; I know so many girls in high school who were going through the same issues as Emily, along with myself (I'm 22 now). College students aren't the only people who face being confused with their sexual identity as well as falling for someone they probably shouldn't be falling for. As much as ADULTS want to sweep these problems under the rug, these are TEEN issues that should be addressed.

IMO I think its interesting and a great show. YAY GO PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

I love Pretty Little Liars because of the story line, but i also completely agree with Maryann.

Whereas these situations may seem taboo they are real things that real teenagers go through. They arent children anymore, they are young adults trying to figure out who they are and there are alot of bumps and unforseen things that come up along the way. This is high school life. Every teenage girl or boy even is going through stuff and you have no idea or to what extent because teenagers are private about deep issues such as these. How should they be acting? What is normal for a teenager?

i love pretty littlw liars

When did you start becoming an actress? what made you want to become an actress?

I totally agree with Shaunna and Tamika! TOTALLY correct!

pretty little liars is amazing. The storyline is appropite for their age group. It wuld be wrong if they all weren't over 18. But they are. They have pretty girls, hot guys, and convining talent. I love the show and hope they go on as long as the books. --Ayy
