No 'American Idol' judges announcement forthcoming Monday

ellen-degeneres-idol-fox.jpgThe rumors of who is replacing Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres on the "American Idol" judges' panel have been coming fast and furious -- but FOX is not ready to show their hand just yet.

A source close to the show tells Zap2it that no deals are signed yet, no judges' panel is set and there is no imminent announcement, as was previously speculated because FOX's Summer Press Tour panel is Monday, Aug. 2.

The latest rumors have been that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are taking over for the departing Cowell and DeGeneres, with Kara DioGuardi being let go and Randy Jackson left as the only remaining current judge on the panel.

Really? You sent an email bulletin to literally say, "No news!" That's incredibly unnecessary.

Thanks for dispelling the rumors. Let's hope that no one who has been mentioned so far is actually in the running. I think if they stick with the basic formula they started with, a strong, opinionated man in the music industry and a beautiful woman with years of experience as a recording artist and performer, but neither that we already have strong opinions about, and neither trying to imitate Simon or Paula, they could possibly salvage season 10.

guest judges or the mentor of the week should be the 3rd judge

Nobody is going to like or approve anyone they pick for judges this coming season, so they should just have a few years of guest judges. I don't think any of the choices should get a permanent contract until they prove themselves worthy! Sort of a trial run, and then WE, the public should TRY to be fair, open minded and give them each a chance before condemming them!

The judges they pick will be accepted after a while. However, the sucking voting system has to be changed. Why aren't people complaining about the one thing that is really bad on this show. Does the show have it's hands so deep in ATT's pockets, can't give the voter what they want--a fair chance of picking the best person.

The best part about the American Idol show was Simon i think the ratings will drop unless they can up the ante and get him back
