Love this show! Betty White, Jane L., and Wendie M. are so funny.
Cute and funny show!
omg this show is soo much better than i thought it was going to be .. it's hilarious!
This is not shocking based on the ratings, but I'm happy to hear it all the same. The show is much better than critics would lead you to believe. All 4 actresses are talented. But, we Clevelanders really aren't as style challenged, backwoods, desperate or out of shape as the show might have you think.
Canned laughter is troublesome.
This show is a hit! I ADORE Betty White BUT everybody while in love with her are kind of ignoring something obvious - she's 88 years old!
If TV land is going by the formula for most TV shows - five seasons is the gold standard (over 100 episodes) and she'll be 93 years young!
From what I understand (via interviews and stuff) working on TV shows - the hours are grueling and I hope they are taking really good care of her!
Unlike Nicolas Colasanto on Cheers (who passed away due to cancer after doing 3 seasons) BETTY is the GLUE that holds this series together (no disrespect to the other ladies).
Last night's ep was hilarious. Great writing. Seems like the show is gelling nicely now.
Wendy is by far the best on the show. Her timing and delivery is comedic genius. I want to see an Emmy nom for last night.
Betty is funny with what she is given. Valerie appears subdued, but plays that spot well. But Jane's role seems the poorest. She's easily replaceable at this point. She just isn't all that funny.
This show is such a guilty pleasure for me and i'm happy to see a 2nd season is on it's way.
About concerns of Betty working grueling hours---if you notice, she's not in all scenes and the ones she's in she seems pretty comfortable, and i'm sure everyone on set is taking exceptional care of her.
I think she's like the Energizer Bunny and wants to keep going and going instead of sitting home doing nothing...some people just love to work and I think she seems so happy to still be doing it at her age, God bless her...
I hope she, as well as Hot in Cleveland stick around for a long long time to come! :)
been looking for the show but they're not playing re-runs or anything. what's up?
i found the show late and love it. great cast, fun show.
