'Kate Plus 8' peek: Kate vs. the chickens
Kate Gosselin is taking on poultry kind ... you know, since she had so much success for those two German Shepherds that were given away and that alligator.
We're not dedicated watchers of "Kate Plus 8" (ah, remember the salad days when we watched for the kids?) but all we have to say is Kate + chickens = tragicomedy.
Although she fake clucks at the beginning of this clip, you'll hear her do some real squawking later, which is kind of indistinguishable from the actual hen's squawking. Or maybe it's just editing.
Why she wants chickens will be revealed on the show we assume. Is it just the thriftiness of free eggs? Teaching the kids where food comes from? Commiseration between mother hens?
The new one-hour special airs Sunday, July 11 on TLC.

Interest in trying to provide for 8 beautiful kids, trash her for having spirit, coping with one or two kids is rough, when you are without a Husband.
All the friends in the world can't make up for husband & father of the kids.
Seems like Kate wants Quality in her kids life.
The dogs, that was a sad day for her and the kids, to have to, let them go.
Their family was intact when they got the puppies.
It was better to let them go, then have them neglected, kate had her hands full with 8 kids and no Jon, a lot of stress.
I think Kate has the inner strength to resolve the issues.
The show is wholesome and kids love to watch, great ideas for acquiring chickens, and how to acquire a chicken coop.
Loved watching those darling kids, someone is doing something right, their smiles tell it all.
