Joe Jonas lands 'Hot in Cleveland' role as Valerie Bertinelli's son
The Jonas Brothers are no strangers to acting. They've got two "Camp Rock" TV movies in the bag and they're now on the second season of their Disney sitcom, "J.O.N.A.S.," where they play... three brothers in a band. The series was nominated for a Best Children's Program Emmy on Thursday. Now, EW confirms that Joe Jonas is taking his first steps outside the Disney bubble with a role on "Hot in Cleveland."
Jonas will appear in his first "Cleveland" episode in August as Valerie Bertinelli's son. Bertinelli plays Melanie, a writer who is depressed by her divorce and decides to move to Cleveland after her plane has to make an emergency landing there.
The show is shot in front of a live studio audience in Studio City, Ca., so Joe should feel right at home. We wonder if his brothers and bandmates will be in attendance for his big debut. Though Joe is currently only booked for one episode, it's possible he'll be back for more now that the series has been renewed for season two.
We're just hoping to see his character get stoned with Betty White. Is that so wrong?

Just based on looks, I sort of see Nick as being Valerie's son more than I do Joe.
You won't see any character getting stoned with Betty White. She draws the line at jokes about drugs.
Actually...Betty White is an actress and not a writer, so she will say the lines the writers have given her or they can fire her wrinkled old ***!
FAGGG!! no nuts, can suck everyones ****!
Joe will do an excellent job!
Sorry, Betty White draws the line at drug content, for which I say "YAY Betty." There is nothing funny about illegal drugs.
Drugs and Drugees are not funny. Drug use is choice and it is a SELFISH, IRRESPONSIBLE, and STUPID choice. Also stupid is the suggestion that Jonas and Betty use drugs for entertainment purposes. Both are current role models and influence many children.
The Zap2it staff need to dump this writer.
I can't wait to watch the episode with him in it. He is so sexy. I love him with glasses and a beard. I think he'll do fine with the episode. I hope he can come back for the second season.
Oh my gosh! Joe should definetly be in the Cleveland show. I mean, look at him!! He's so hot!!
