'Glee': Javier Bardem to guest star as a rock star
Yes, you read that right -- Academy Award winner Javier Bardem is coming to McKinley high. The sexy Spaniard will guest star on the second season of "Glee," Entertainment Weekly confirms.Bardem's guest starring role was actually his own idea. When he starred in "Eat Pray Love" with Julia Roberts, he pitched the idea to director Ryan Murphy -- who obviously accepted.
Bardem says that he watched the entire first season in a week -- a feat that any Gleek would admire.
Bardem will play a rock star who befriends Artie (Kevin McHale). "We're going to rock the house," Bardem tells EW. "We're going to do some heavy metal -- Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst." McHale has proven that he can handle everything from "Safety Dance" to Lady Gaga, so we're guessing Spanish metal won't be too hard to tackle.
We vote for Meryl Streep to be the next Oscar winner to grace "Glee."

Meryl on Glee would rock my world. I love her.
That sounds awesome, although Kevin McHale didn't perform any Lady Gaga numbers.
