'Glee': Britney Spears episode in the works
Britney Spears might be getting a "Glee" career comeback.Like the Madonna-themed episode in "Glee's" freshman season, an episode revolving around Spears' music is getting prepped, reports ET.
The show's creator Ryan Murphy tells the newsmagazine that the show is currently writing the Spears episode.
We can already hear one of the heart-heavy Gleeks, or perhaps Miss Pillsbury, singing, "Oops, I Did It Again," whether Matthew Morrison likes it or not. So far, there' s no indication one way or another if Spears herself will appear in the episode.
On the subject of tribute episodes, Murphy also hints that the post-Super Bowl episode will feature the music of an artist that isn't Michael Jackson ... but that guess is "close." Hmm, we think Prince would fit the bill.
"Glee" led the Emmy Awards series nominations Thursday (July 8) with 19 nominations.

"might be getting a Glee career comeback"? Britney doesn't need a comeback, she just placed in the top 10 of Forbes 100 Most Powerful Celebrities...ahead of Madonna, by the way.
As well as two number one singles within a year of each other. Her comeback has already happened. She's been back. Her fans are just eagerly awaiting her new album this fall and for the magic to continue. Love Britney. Love Glee. Love that this is officially happening!

Boo. Honestly, her songs are not that iconic and she doesn't deserve a tribute episode. I'm guessing the Superbowl one will be Janet Jackson, not Prince. Are they ever going to feature any tribute episodes based around men?
