'Deadliest Catch' says goodbye to Phil Harris

phil-harris-deadliest-catch-320.jpg"Deadliest Catch" airs its final episode with the late Capt. Phil Harris on Tuesday night (July 13), and as you might expect, there's a lot of emotion attached to it.

The episode, which airs at 9 p.m. ET on Discovery, and the "After the Catch" discussion that follows at 10, will touch on the end of Harris' life and the struggle his two sons, Josh and Jake -- deckhands on his boat, the Cornelia Marie -- go through after their father is felled by a stroke. (Harris suffered a stroke while offloading crab on Jan. 29 and died on Feb. 9.)

Tributes to Harris have filled the web since his death as "Catch" fans said goodbye to one of the most memorable characters on a reality show that's a lot more real than most. "After the Catch" will look back at his life and his time on the show, and the episode, taped in New Orleans, will also include a jazz funeral for the captain.

We also wanted to share one of the best moments for Capt. Phil on the show, where he and his crew revel in a particularly good haul. Take a look, and share your thoughts on Phil Harris in the comments.

I will truly miss Mr. Phill Harris on the show. It broke my heart I truly hope that his children are at ease knowing that there dad was watched and loved by many people who never really never got to meet the man but I never missed a show and would truley love to experiance what you all do just one time. But at age 52 it would just be a wish. I watch the boat's bounce and shake,I would be so sick and I know by watching that you guys are a true family.
