'American Idol's' Casey James on being the new 'Bachelor': 'Sign me up!'
Is it possible "The Bachelor" may actually get a marriage soon? Well, it may not be between contestants, but a marriage of wildly popular reality shows. "Bachelor" host, Chris Harrison started a frenzy in June when he tweeted, "Casey James just agreed to be our next Bachelor. He is allowed a guitar!"
Well,
"Oh, God, that sounds horrible!" The Season 9 finalist joked. "Sign me up!"
Once the apple of "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi's eye, it sounds like James is single and ready to mingle. So, what qualities would the handsome musician look for in the bachelorettes?
"Confident and kind," he says. "I don't necessarily have a type as far as looks go, but I love a sense of humor."
Does Casey James have your vote to be the next "Bachelor"?

YES
Hell Yeah! WooHoo!! See, being in the American Idol top ten can pay off in more than just one way.
Oh Baby!!!! I wouldn't miss a minute of it!!!
YUM!
YES!!! It would be so much fun to see Casey as the Bachelor! He's just perfect...please say it's going to happen!
He's cute and a real country boy. Would be a nice change from the likes of Jake Pravlka. Could be wrong, but doubt Casey takes himself so seriously. Go for it!!
Lord no!! Casey has way too much class for that show.
Casey is not fake and would be absolutely the wrong guy. He got us hooked on his honesty and pure motives about celebrity and fame. Many of us would lose our belief in his ability to keep these values and much of the respect he has earned as a real artist for the music would suffer. Surely he was just kidding when he said,'sign me up'. That is not the kind of fame Casey needs. He seems to be the real deal. Not to mention that I read somewhere that he has past interests that he may renew now that he is so well known to avoid those with impure motives.
