'American Idol': David Archuleta's new single 'Something 'Bout Love,' 'A Capitol Fourth' performance

Take a listen to "American Idol" runner up David Archuleta's new single "Something About Love.""Love" can be heard on AOL Radio's New Pop First station, but of course fans have already grabbed it and posted it on its own so you don't have to wait through those other musicians on the station.
As far as we can tell, it's a solid pop piece with lyrics that go something like this:
Something bout love that makes your heart
That sets you free
Whoa oh oh oh
Something bout love that tears you up
Whoa oh oh oh
Still believe
When the world falls down like rain
And brings you to your knees
Something bout love that breaks your heart
But don't give up
Something bout love

"Something 'Bout Love" will be available for purchase at Archuleta's music store on July 13, at iTunes on July 20.
Also, Archie could be seen and heard over the holiday weekend on PBS' special, "A Capital Fourth."

It's funny, I was listening to the radio this morning and this song was playing and I was rocking out to it in my care, and I kept asking... "WHO SINGS THIS?"
It's really catchy and a fine summer pop song.

Dennis, what station were you listening to? I far as I know it hasn't been added for radio play yet. I love the song. It is an amazing song and David's voice just gives me chills...LOVE IT!
It has not been added officially as of yet, however, it has been played x1 at a few Radio Stations (Utah, Philippines etc,) to see what type of feedback they get. The official release for airplay is July 26th. So far there seems to be alot of people excited about this new release, very catchy and a great song to dance to :-)
I heard that David is now President of NAMBLA and his best friend is Bieber..
The song is really catchy/fun and he can hit that high notes? Wow. I saw him on the fourth of July show on TV. He did a great job. Congrats!!
