'American Idol': Adam Lambert detours for Michigan music fest
Adam Lambert had the night off from his current Glam Nation tour on July 13, but that didn't keep him from performing. The season 8 "American Idol" runner-up made an appearance at the Lansing, Michigan, Common Ground Festival.
Lambert headlined the Tuesday night showcase, arriving on stage in a top hat and performing "For Your Entertainment" tracks "Fever," "Strut" and "Voodoo." Fellow season 8 alum Allison Iraheta even kicked off the night as his opener, singing her cover of Pat Benatar's "Heartbreaker."
And the duo have some pretty eclectic company on the lineup. Other headliners include Alice Cooper, Sammy Hagar, Ludacris and Bret Michaels.

Saw his concert and thought it was great. Great crowd too. He attracts a very diverse audience from 6 to 80. Men & women of all races. The guy is incredibly talented.

Wow I heard the estimated crowd was over 9000. Amazing that in MI he could pull in these numbers especially looking at the other preformers. He's spreading his message of love and acceptance with every performance. So brave of him to take his tour thru the "heartland" of America instead of staying in the urban areas were he may of been recieved.

I SAW ADAM'S SHOW IN NASHVILLE. I WAS FRICKIN' AMAZING. THE BEST CONCERT I'VE SEEN. AND HE IS MORE BEAUTIFUL IN CONCERT.

Make that 5 to 80. My son was 5 when he saw Adam at Fantasy Springs. He had a blast.
