TV ratings: 'Bachelorette,' CBS reruns lead Monday

Viewers were pretty cool toward two new scripted series on network TV Monday, and the return of "Last Comic Standing" didn't do a ton for NBC either. That left "The Bachelorette" and CBS' rerun lineup as the top performers for the night.

CBS averaged 7.6 million viewers and a 4.9 rating/8 share in households for the night, beating out ABC's 6.9 million and 4.5/8. FOX (5.3 million, 3.4/6) came in third. NBC (4.75 million, 3.1/5) took fourth, while The CW was way off the pace with 728,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.

The top two networks switched places in the adults 18-49 demographic, with ABC's 2.3 rating topping CBS' 2.0. NBC, 1.8, and FOX, 1.6, were not far behind. The CW posted a 0.3.

Seriously, I watched Persons Unknown and it was very well written and very well acted. If you want some suspense and mystery from a show that thinks outside of the box, give this a shot. No, I do not work for the show or the network. I just thought it was a cool show, and I wanted to spread the word.

"Persons Unknown" was great, as was "The Good Guys". CBS is for old people.

i liked persons unknown too---not sure why NBC hasn't advertised it more--hopefully they'll air all the episodes.

Yeah, Persons Unknown wasn't half-bad, and at least NBC wisely (for once) scheduled it so that it has a definite ending. That is, of course, that they show all the episodes and don't relegate it to the burn-off day of Saturday at 10/9. If NBC has shows at least like this when the new season starts back up, they might have a chance to dig themselves out of the muck in which they've buried themselves.

CBS is for old people.

ABC is for Desperate old women

Wow, Persons Unknown was pretty good. Finally, a new kind of show. Kudos to NBC, but I hate the lack of advertisement. I told 5 friends about it and none of them heard about the show. Batchelorette? What's going on? Is this Idiocracy the movie? Any signs of intelligent movies are thought provoking topics and we stay away. Mindless shows with superficial beautiful people and we drool in front of our TV. GO PERSONS UNKNOWN!!!

The Good Guys is awesome. I was laughing the whole hour. If you like Burn Notice, you'll like this show. It is make by the same guy.

Did not enjoy The Good Guys..didn't think it was very good.

Just watched "Persons Unknown"...again another show that is completely unreal in its presentation..the actors all play a sort of wimpy cry baby, even the strong one is that way...show is stupid, doesn't make sense, might have been a good premise for a 2 hour TV movie, but this Hotel California rip off just doesn't have it
