'The Borgias' first look: Jeremy Irons behind the scenes

Showtime's "The Borgias" is working on filling the historical drama and debauchery void.

The network released a first look behind the scenes of the new series, which sadly won't debut until sometime in 2011.

It's a horrible tease since we have to wait so long, but at the same time gives us a bit more background about the medieval Italian family, which the producers point out were the inspiration for Mario Puzo's "The Godfather" book series.

So, does that make Rodrigo Borgia (Jeremy Irons) the retro Don Vito Corleone?
