It's settled. Lauren Froderman is my Season 7 "So You Think You Can Dance" girlfriend.
As judge Adam Shankman said while watching her solo in Vegas, "in Heaven."
This girl dances like she just gets it, do you know what I mean?
When I met Lauren and the other Top 11 finalists last week, she had not yet appeared on the show, so I had no clue how much I was going to love, love, love her.
During
our interview, I asked her what sets her apart
from the rest and she says she's just kind of crazy and energetic and a
pretty happy kid.
Yes, pretty happy and, um, perfection -- and then some -- on the dance floor.
Why didn't you tell me you were perfection -- and then some -- on the dance floor, Froderman?!
How do you guys feel about Lauren? Are you going to fight me for her? I guess we can share...

Yep, she is definitely my favorite girl this season, hands down. I think the girls are weaker this year than the guys in general, but I really love her spark, personality and passion, along with her obvious technical talent. Question: Do you know if there is going to be a tour after this season, if the Top 10 from last season will be incorporated into it? I really, really, really hope so because as weird as last season was run in some ways, I definitely think it was one of if not the strongest Top 20s they ever had! Seeing Jakob, Legacy, Katheryn, Russell, Molly, etc. on tour too with this new cast would be heaven! If you don't know yet, will you please ask Nigel the next time you see him? Not being able to see Jakob Karr touring live with this show is just not fair!!! He is perfection!!!!!!!!!!
Hands down winner before it even starts. Lauren has it all - talent, cute, smart, camera loves her and judges love her. It's hers to lose.

Would you still love her if you had heard her complaining about how she kept getting "stuck with the Koreans" even though the groups were getting smaller and smaller during the Las Vegas tryouts? I was disgusted.
When I first saw the clip, I thought she said Koreans also! I called her Mom and what she said was "curtains"! That's why she went over and slapped the curtians. There weren't any Koreans there to start with. If you watch that clip again and listen, you'll understand.
Uncle Jimmy, just to be sure, I replayed that clip with Closed Captions on and even it said "Koreans." It is my hope that everyone's ears & closed captioning misheard Lauren because otherwise her words make me like her a lot less.
