'Rubicon': AMC debuts its first episode

Did you catch the first episode of AMC's new conspiracy thriller "Rubicon" on Sunday, June 13 following the season finale of "Breaking Bad"? If you didn't, there's still time. AMC will rerun the episode again before the official Aug. 1 premiere date.If you aren't familiar with it, check out the videos below. There's a trailer, a recap of the first episode and a look ahead at the entire season. "Rubicon" is a new spy drama starring James Badge Dale ("24", "The Pacific) as an analyst who works for a New York City think tank. He finds himself caught up in a tangled web of conspiracy theories, national security/intelligence and some mysterious four-leaf clovers.
AMC has already found two hits in "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad". Will "Rubicon" and the fall horror series "The Walking Dead" be its next two hits? Let us know what you think!

Rubicon! omg! so scary I almost turned it off! like the fact that none of the characters except the one they killed off, are recognizable, so far...the style of filming and the music was beyond creepy cool! would like to hear some more dialog next show..this time there was alot of muttering, and no end to some of the sentences...an hour of that can become tedious..but, Im ready to give it a shot...no more l&O for me!

Sooo happy to see James Badge Dale again so shortly after 'The Pacific'. Nice to see him in a season-length prod à la '24' and not just extended cameos (Black Donnellys, CSI, Rescue Me)
A lot of work behind this ep and a lot of style...Who am I kidding? Of course I'm gonna be tunning in on Aug 1st!! Go RUBICON!!
Can't be bothered with anthology series any more... by the time they catch on with viewers they are either canceled [Fast Forward] or start playing wait til mid season games [Lost - Heroes].
It's an extremely awesome show, especially the first episode. Now, I can't wait until the next.
Looks good to me! I was worried that it was going to be too much like Traveler (that never got wrapped up as intended) and did not want to waste time with it. Based upon the sneak peaks here, I think it might be worth my while, so I am going to give it a chance!
Compelling and gripping story with plenty of twists and turns. If you loved Damages (S1, S3), enjoy mystery novels, and conspiracy theories, then this show is for you.
I am only disappointed that I got to see just one hour and not the first three. Get ready to get hooked!
The Opening episode was intriguing, but subsequent episodes have been too packed with senseless dialogue that is both hard to follow and boring. Too bad, I was really looking forward to a strong showing from this series. It is always best to show a lot up front and struggle in the middle, but this appears to be destined for failure right from the get go.
