'Pretty Little Liars': ABC Family orders 12 extra episodes

Woohoo! Ahem. We're just a little bit excited that ABC Family has picked up 12 more episode of our favorite summer show, "Pretty Little Liars," which means we'll be getting a full 22-episode season.

Not that it's a surprise. According the Kate Jeurgens, the EVP of Original Programming, "'Pretty Little Liars' is a breakout hit for the network. It's a perfect fit with the network's strong slate of original scripted dramas." The show launched ABC Family's highest-ever series debut in key demographics.

With nine "Pretty Little Liars" books worth of material to work from, we're sure that producers will have no trouble working out storylines for the back twelve episodes. We're already dying to see what happens with Aria (Lucy Hale) and Professor McHottie (Ian Harding).
