'Plain Jane': The CW's electrifying new makeover show

The CW's summer reality show, "Plain Jane," is a sort of cross between MTV's "Made" and that awesome 1999 Freddie Prinze Jr. movie, "She's All That." Host and "fairy godmother" Louise Roe finds geeky, average-looking women and zaps them into shape. Literally.
In the first episode, we meet Roe's first subject, a sweet girl who has had a crush on her friend Ty (who looks a lot like Stephen Colletti from "Laguna Beach" and "One Tree Hill") for six years. She puts her faith in Roe, who sets them up on a "blind" date.
We're a little concerned by the scene that features Roe actually electrocuting her pupil every time she did something socially awkward while talking to a man. She even gets a zap when she accidentally puts the moves on a gay guy. Double ouch.
This show has everything we could possibly hope for in a guilty pleasure TV show. Rooftop champagne, tears in the hair salon, happy endings, and... electrocution.

Anyone think the "Plain Jane" looks
kind of like Charisma Carpenter?
In the fourth paragraph it says she zaps her pupil. I thought for a second she was shocking her in the eye.
