'Paranormal Activity 2': Watch the trailer
OK, so we're creeped out now.
The first trailer for "Paranormal Activity 2" has hit the Internet, and while there's not a lot of information offered up in terms of story or characters, the dread-inducing atmosphere from the first movie is present in a big way.
The super-low-budget horror film was a huge hit last year, earning more than $100 million at the box office. A sequel was pretty much inevitable. Oren Peli, who wrote and directed the first movie, is a producer on the sequel, which was directed by Tod Williams ("The Door in the Floor") and written by Michael R. Perry ("Persons Unknown," "The Dead Zone").
The budget is somewhat bigger, but the look of "Paranormal Activity 2" is pretty much the same as its predecessor. That strikes us as a wise move -- there's no telling yet if the sequel will live up to the sensation of the first movie, but staying close to the original seems like a better idea than, say, what happened with "Blair Witch 2."
"Paranormal Activity 2" is scheduled for an Oct. 22 release. What do you think of the trailer?

Why bother in making another movie? The first one was so boring, so bad!
Whoa~ check it out. Look in the wall mirror when the girl is standing in the door. The kid in the real room is not in the crib at all, but he is standing up in the reflection! Ick
Not to mention that if you look in the mirror right before the dog jumps up the rocking chair is moving in the mirror but not in the room.
Alright, another one: At the very end of the clip, as it goes back to the first frame, allowing you to replay if you wish, there is writing on the mirror. Flipping it around, it says "What is happening to Hunter". Creepy. Hunter must be the kid
awesome. Don't hate, just enjoy!
Well if this trailer is like the first trailer, we just saw everything remotely scary in the entire movie.
I think I'll pass this time in order to avoid the inevitable disappointment.
Sorry to burst your bubble, jwbmom99, but the rocking chair is moving in the room, too.
The Dog is not visible in mirror when he is in the room either. I am certain this has something to do with the movie, rather than a technical error of some sort. Kind of creepy haha
