'Kate Plus 8' peek: Kate Gosselin vs. the alligator
Kate Gosselin is back! Well, with "Dancing With the Stars" so recent, perhaps she never went away?
The mom of eight returns to TLC on Sunday, June 6 with two back-to-back specials -- "Kate Plus 8" at 9 p.m. ET and then "Inside Kate's World" at 10 p.m.
The first part of the Gosselin reality fest, the sextuplets get a surprise trip to Orlando for their sixth birthday. They're still pretty cute, especially with them interacting with animals like swimming with dolphins and feeding exotic birds.
Of course, as Gosselin fans know, Alexis is alligator (aka "aldergator") crazy, and what's a trip to the Everglades without a scare from one of the reptiles? Check out this clip of Kate Gosselin meeting another much scarier mom:
Here's a promo that focuses more on the kids' birthday:
Finally, we get a look at "Inside Kate's World," which we're not sure is all that fascinating since it's more about Mama Gosselin without the alleviating focus on the kids. The cameras follow her publicity gigs, makeovers and all that keeps her in the public eye. In this clip, we get to hear bodyguard Steve Neild's thoughts on her life:

Who in the world wants to have Kate Gosselin on their TV screen for 2 hours in a row EVER?
What a dopey mother, I just watched the youtube thing and she's a total moron. She screamed her head off over an alligator that was pretty much asleep. Then she takes her brood to Florida and says they'll be cranky cause they missed their naps. Are you flippin kidding me, they are 6 years old, A NAP??
Now I see what kind of mom she is, a lazy one. When my kid was 6, she was playing if she wasn't in school. Not napping. What a bimbo mother you are Kate. I think you need a nap.
Lazy?! Easy for you to say with ONE kid! Try 8 kids!! Then see if you are into naps for the kids. Sheeeeshh
Please let he gator win.... oh please, please! OS tired of this waste of space occupying time that could be better used with a true talent/and or a person who is worthwhile and not just a useless B**** who somehow fools women and others to support her for absolutely no reason..
we all have kids but we dont have 8 at one time
most of us have 2 or 3
she is a good mom give her a break
maybe we should help her and not put her down
I can't wait to see her and the kids, and am so glad TLC handled Jon the way that they did. I loved the preview of the kids running through the enormous house, and I think Kate is making a good life for them there thanks to her association with TLC.

When will this whiny, annoying media wh*re just go away?? Anytime I've seen her in interviews, she boohoo's about 'being a single mom' and that she misses her kids so much. Yet, she takes every opportunity to get whisked away to be on tv.
Guess what Kate, you are NOT a single mom when you have full time nannies, housekeepers, body guards, and agents. You are never alone with your kids dealing with the stresses of being the sole provider and parent.
I, and millions of others ARE single parents. We alone are responsible for care and support of our kids. We keep the house, pay for daycare while we work to support the household, and then go home and make dinner, help with homework, and love our little guys. We do the best we can to make our kids happy, healthy and safe, and don't complain about it.THAT is being a single parent.
We do not, however, cry to everyone around us that it so hard to be a single mom.And how you have to do whatever it takes to support your kids. But you say that as you are getting $1,000 hair extensions and fake tans.
Face it, Kate is in this for Kate.
Give me a break.
good grief people give the woman a break, she isnt perfect and all the choices she makes arent great but she is only human. She is trying to make a life the best way she can for her and the kids, it is a job just like millions of other people have, most people dont bash so much on other tv stars when you see they're kids plasterd on magazines and photos
bee (above post) makes a good point. but anyway, kate is probably doing the best as she knows how. if she knew better, she wouldn't be complaining so much. i think she's a lot funnier person than she usually shows on the outside. (btw, i'm not particularly a fan of her or her choices, but i think she's doing what she can like all of us.)
