'Glee' finale: It's all about the love

glee-will-emma-journey-to-regionals-finale-320.jpgThe theme of Tuesday's (June 8) "Glee" finale?

Love.

Fans got not one, not two, but three declarations of it from the dudes in three different almost-couples.

So which lucky women heard those three little words?

Finn and Rachel: Yes, Rachel kissed Finn after he begged her to lead the glee club and fight for a win, despite Sue standing in the way of their victory at Regionals. But he took her -- and our -- breath away when he told Ms. Berry he loved her just before they walked into the auditorium to sing their "Faithfully" duet in front of a huge crowd.

Will and Emma: When Emma tore into Figgins for disbanding New Directions after they failed to win at Regionals, Will let the "The L word" loose. In fact, he said that it doesn't matter if she's dating her dentist, because he loves her and she loves him. So, yeah, John Stamos is in for a fight.

Puck and Quinn: While admiring their just-born baby girl as she slept in the hospital nursery, Quinn asked Puck if he ever loved her. His said, yes, but now, more than ever. Might we see a committed P-Money in Season 2?!

Tell us, which "Glee" confession had you squealing?

Where's the "none of the above" option? Loved the finale, but none of those declarations felt real. (Sincere in the moment, perhaps, but not based on a solid foundation.) No squees from me.

Will and Emma's. It felt the most authentic b/c she didn't say it back. She's seeing someone else so if he really wants her back, he's going to have to fight for her and earn her trust back.

Going to have to agree with eirenical. I guess the one I was the least apathetic towards was Puck/Quinn, but just because I thought the scene was adorable -- I still don't see how we're supposed to believe any love between them. But I guess now that the baby's gone, I guess they can finally show us.

Finn and Rachel!!! Finn has grown so much - his journey realized his love for Rachel. They are adorable - and they are why the glee club works. Rachel always knew Finn was the one... I am so glad he said it first, and yes, he took my breath away too - I had to rewind it cause I thought I imagined it! It was the most beautiful, touching scene last night... Finn and Rachel belong together. They are each others lobsters after all.. :)

I love all of the couples - and yay for Quinn and Puck. Puck - way to man up!! I hope they will find there way to each other in Season 2.

Maybe it says more about the acting talent of the three in question, but the only declaration of love I even believed was Puck's. Finn's seemed too rushed-- too much like "i have all this nervous energy and it's bubbling up word vomit style." And Will...let's just say he is more of a man-child than any of these teenagers! He wants Emma, sure, but wanting something doesn't necessarily imply love. Has anyone else noticed that he wants her most when he can't have her, by the way? He's like Michael Mancini! He's in it for the challenge!

I thought Finn's blurting out 'I Love You' was so in character for him. Cory Monteith delivered it perfectly. I think Cory has shown to be the most consistent acting-wise throughout the season. His comedic facial expressions also has me rolling on the floor everytime.

none. no build up. all rushed. it was more like WTF really? how? why? when did that happen? after you screwed her over a couple of times?

Finn and Rachel by far -- my heart skipped a beat! Puck and Quinn's was very nice too. Will and Emma's was my least favourite. It was in the delivery of the line -- too soap opera dramatic for me. I would have preferred something a little more restrained there.

@ Christy: Neither Quinn nor Rachel said it back either, so I'm not sure I follow your logic. If you mean reciprocation of feelings, I'm not sure Quinn loves Puck. She might like him but not necessarily love him. Rachel certainly reciprocates Finn's feelings (YAY).

I actually believed Puck's declaration over anyone else. That whole scene while they observed Beth felt felt natural and the way Puck laughed like he could not believe he admitted it. Then you have Quinn's shocked then happy face. It felt real to me.

Puck&Quinn - i am so excited for s2
