'Drop Dead Diva' premiere: Who is Jane's true love? VOTE!
Weren't you excited to welcome back Lifetime's touching and hilarious switched-identity world of "Drop Dead Diva"?In the Season 2 premiere episode, it's raining men for our heroine, Jane (played by Brooke Elliott). The episode picks up the morning after Jane's estranged husband, Ethan (Devon Gummersall), surprisingly shows up on her doorstep.
Jane, of course, has no recollection of him, but she's not alone. No one in Jane's life knew that she secretly married him in order to add him to her insurance when he was battling leukemia. Jane comes to find out that she has a visceral reaction to Ethan that she doesn't understand. Is she feeling the former Jane's attraction to Ethan?
Thankfully, her guardian angel, Fred (so glad to have Ben Feldman back!), is able to tell her that the feelings may not be warm and fuzzy. Bye, Ethan!So, that leaves Jane back with two other romantic possibilities. There's of course, Grayson (Jackson Hurst), who was Jane's love during her life as skinny Minnie model, Deb. He clearly has feelings for Jane, because he feels the reverberations of his late fiancé in her. But we believe the physical part remains a stumbling block for him. Then, there's Tony (David Denman), the teddy bear of an attorney who fell for the Jane as she is now.

I think that Jane is evolving and is becoming a new person, leaving Deb behind. When its all said and done, I think she should end up with Fred.
Although Deb/Jane is still in love with Grayson,he was in love with Deb,Tony cares about Jane,and I think Jane needs to leave Deb behind and move forward with Tony,HE'S REALLY cute.
I feel that jane is so sexy. You go girl! I hope that is good to her.
i think jane/deb needs to move on with her new life and forget the past all of the past !! and give tony a chance or maybe even someone else completely new she is such a sweetheart and needs a good man to treat her right! i love the show and i hope it just gets better and better!!

There's a lot more chemistry and the za za zoom with Tony than Grayson. Team Tony!
I think the core and key of the tension in the show has always been the relationship Jane-Grayson. Take that out and all the magic disappears... Definitely she should end up with Grayson, that will also show a message about the triumph of love and true soul-mates and not only the looks, which is one of the things that the show was supposed to be about from the beginning, I believe. I think Tony was a good distraction in the show, who also served his purpose of increasing Jane's self-esteem and giving her the chance to explore and grow in her new persona, but it has always been about Grayson in the end. I would be very very disappointed if not at least! :) For me, it is what makes this show different.
Why not let Jane say single with guest dates; she wonderfully successful and smart and shouldn't have to be tied to just one guy. Let her play the field and have fun with Jane being the confident successful stylish woman she is.
