'Drop Dead Diva' hires '7th Heaven's' Barry Watson

barry-watson-gi-320.jpgFormer "7th Heaven" star Barry Watson has landed a gig about a man who's lost his job.

The actor will guest star on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Watson will play a grieving man who's been fired from his job. Jane (Brooke Elliott) and Grayson (Jackson Hurst) will represent him in his wrongful termination case.

"Diva" kicked off its second season on Sunday (June 6) to higher numbers, 3.1 million viewers, than its series debut.
