'Dexter': Jonny Lee Miller heads to Miami

jonny-lee-miller-getty.jpgThe new season of "Dexter" has added yet another new face to its cast.

"Eli Stone" star Jonny Lee Miller has joined the Showtime series for a multi-episode arc, Variety reports. As with the other new additions to the show -- and the brief return of former regular Julie Benz -- details of his role are being kept close to the vest.

We do know, however, that Miller's character will somehow be involved with the equally mysterious character played by Julia Stiles.

Miller is the fourth new face on the show this season, joining Stiles, Shawn Hatosy ("Southland") and Maria Doyle Kennedy ("The Tudors"), who will play Dexter's (Michael C. Hall) nanny.

The role will be Miller's first on American TV since "Eli Stone" ended last year. He also starred in a BBC miniseries adaptation of Jane Austen's "Emma" last fall.

I could not be more pumped about the new season of Dexter. I love Jonny Lee Miller (still miss Eli Stone) and Shawn Hatosy. They will make excellent additions to the show.

You're forgetting April Lee Hernandez has joined the cast as a new cop

Guess I'll start watching Dexter now. Really miss Eli Stone.

Was really hoping to see Jonny Lee Miller on American tv again. Just loved him in "Emma" on Masterpiece Theatre this past season. Can't wait for Dexter, another favorite of mine.
