Debbie Gibson vs. Tiffany: 80s teen queens brawl in SyFy's 'Mega Python vs. Gatoroid'

Whoa, is it 1987 already?Debbie Gibson and Tiffany are finally going to get some closure on their 1980s pop rivalry in SyFy's upcoming Saturday night movie, "Mega Python vs. Gatoroid."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, SyFy promises an "epic battle" between the former teen sensations.
Gibson plays an animal-rights activist who frees illegally imported exotic snakes from pet stores, transporting them to the Everglades, where they grow into.. well, mega pythons, apparently. Tiffany will plays a park ranger who uses some unethical methods to save endangered alligators.
In the script, the women get into a catfight at a party, and then take the brawl outside into the swamp. We're guessing that when something called a "gatoroid" is lurking, the swamp is not the place to be.
According to SyFy exec Thomas Vitale, Tiffany visited the SyFy offices and pitched the idea of working with Gibson. The project begins shooting this month.
"I know that pop culture fanatics have been dying for Tiffany and me to collaborate for the past 24 years!" said Gibson in a statement. "What better way to do it than by battling each other in a campy romp through the Everglades?"
Tiffany, on the other hand, had this to say: "Only in my dreams have I been able to have a catfight with Debbie Gibson...until now!"
Oh, we see what you did there, Tiffany.

One of the most overused cliches..."epic", right. Gibson did have it right stating that the movie would be "campy". I steer clear of these trashy movies. A guy has to draw the line somewhere, although I did watch their videos in the 80s.

Debbie Gibson posed for a stroke magazine??? She's Pat Boone's daughter and her biggest hit (You Light Up My Life) was about God. That trash doesn't fit for her.
