'CSI: Miami' to lose Eddie Cibrian, 'Karate Kid' headed to FX

eddie-cibrian-csi-miam-320.jpgEddie Cibrian's ex-wife isn't the only one who's bidding him adios.

"CSI: Miami" is reportedly done with the Jesse Cardoza character now that Delko (Adam Rodriguez) will be returning, says E! Online.

Spoiler alert! If you don't want even a hint of how Cardoza will be taking leave, stop reading now.

We and Horatio Caine have warned you *puts on sunglasses*

Supposedly, Cardoza's character will be killed off, never to return. There aren't any other details, but perhaps a jealous wife is involved?

In other TV news:

 - FX has waxed on about the box office champ "The Karate Kid," nabbing the TV rights to the summer flick, reports Deadline. The network has also snapped up "The A-Team," "Date Night" and "The Tooth Fairy."

 - Over at The Hollywood Reporter, we hear that "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" star Thomas Dekker will join "Cinema Verite," an HBO film. The film will be a documentary about the PBS documentary series "An American Family," a forerunner of today's reality docudramas. Dekker will play gay son Lance, joining Tim Robbins and Diane Lane as his parents, Bill and Pat Loud. James Gandolfini will play Craig Gilbert, "Family's" producer.

 - Finally, Style has an appetite for "Jerseylicious." The network has expanded the show's second-season order from 10 to 20. It's a no-brainer vote of confidence since the first season was Style's most-watched newcomer among its target female demo.

YES! Now I could watch CSI Miami again.

No, no, no. I LOVE Eddie Cibrian! Don't want to see him leave. He's been so nice to watch this past season...

Eddie got to be a bigger star than Rimes so my guess is that she used her influence with the producer and pulled the rug out from beneath him.

Delighted Delko's coming back, we haven't seen Eddie Cibrian's character over here yet, so can't comment.

Delko returns? Ugh! His character is a complete and total drip. He's always pouting and whining. And I suppose they'll put him with Calleigh again. What a waste of a character's time. At least Jesse Cardoza has some actual character. This is a BAD decision!

nathan drake. I really really think he's best for it. Who or where do I send the message that I want Eddie Cibrian to play Nathan Drake in the uncharted movie? I saw in different sites that other people feel the same way.

It was sad how eddie's ugly loser ex wife had to ruin this job for him. She never got over the fact that he dumped her for a younger prettier more talented woman. Bet with the ex wife being a loser and living off of Eddie money, now she will be sorry once her payments stop. Sad, poor loser ugly thing.

I wasn't too distressed when Adam Rodrigues left CSI: Miami. I never bought his relationship with Calleigh. Frankly it is still a little fuzzy for me. There is/was no finesse in the way it was handled.

I like Eddie Cibrian's character and his interaction with the rest of the cast.

What I am mystified about is why AR left in the first place and, now, why is hie coming back? He was too much fun on Ugly Betty and seemed to have other irons in the fire, so why return?

We all could see the proverbial writing on the wall when Adam Delko started showing up again. Color me not surprised.

That's REALLY disappointing. Eddie Cibrian added a lot to the show; Delko only pouts and tries to look REALLY MAD...........and Calleigh's nuts for putting up with him.

Real shame.

If CSI Miami wold drop the bad video cameras, it would be a much bigger help for those endlessly falling ratings.
