'Breaking Bad' gets a Season 4 pickup
"Breaking Bad" ended its highest-rated season on Sunday (June 13), and Emmy nominations are likely to follow in July. It's also coming back for a fourth season in 2011.A pickup for a new season is all but a done deal, according to several reports, and a formal announcement is expected on Monday. AMC and producer Sony Pictures TV haggled some over the show's per-episode budget but have come to an agreement that's pretty much in the middle of what each side had proposed.
Bryan Cranston has won two consecutive Emmys for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for playing chemistry teacher/cancer victim-turned-master meth cooker Walter White. His co-star Aaron Paul was nominated for outstanding supporting actor last year, and the show got a best drama series nod.
Cranston, Paul and the show are all contenders for repeat nominations this year; the Emmys announce the field on July 8.
"Breaking Bad" averaged 2.2 million viewers per episode (including DVR viewing) this season. The show has grown its audience in each of its three seasons.

Excellent finale! This show just keeps getting better. Can't wait for season 4.
This is definitely one of the best dramas on TV. I predict that Jesse didn't shoot Gale, which makes me curious to see how Walt saves his own life.
Agree^^ I think maybe someone might interviene or jesse kidnaps him or something. God 1 year......i wonder what I'm gonna do now
I love this show, it was something that I could watch and not get bored, it's a shame that we have to wait a year or more to watch it again!!!
I am almost absolutely positive that Mike and Victor die while they are on their way to get Jesse to prevent him from killing Gale but my gut feeling is that while they drive over there with Walt in the car something goes terribly wrong for those two. This is going to be an amazing start to a season 4 I believe it will go that way. :)
When I was watching Malcolm in the Middle a while ago and decided to play around with my Google TV, that’s when I discovered Breaking Bad! The show did start out slow but over time has improved. This show is truly amazing and I’m glad I found it. Being that I am an employee and customer of DISH Network, I got the Logitech Revue with Google TV right when it was released. Now I can’t live without it.
