Summer is officially in full swing with the start of "Big Brother 12." Now you can meet the house guests! Check out the full photo gallery here.It has been reported around the web that there are 14 house guests. That is no longer correct. CBS has told Zap2it that one contestant got out to the Los Angeles area in the pre-show sequester and got cold feet, so she chose not to participate in the show. They were sad to lose her, but there are 13 exciting "Big Brother" contestants to meet!

Britney, a 22-year-old hotel sales manager from Huntington, AR
Kathy, a 40-year-old deputy sheriff from Texarkana, AR

Jeez CBS could you have picked a more homogenous group of twinkies? 11/12 are white and the 12th doesn't look that black. They all look like they are movie extras with their lovely headshots and "I'm ready to take off my clothes" look. This is gonna be BOORRRRING!!!!
12/13 are white, that is.
For ONCE could they pick someone from New Jersey that is NOT Italian Guido city! There are many from Jersey who are educated and don't sound like morons.
Since when has racial diversity made BB more riveting?! That's just silly. Oh, and J. Taylor, you're absolutely right that educated people do live in New Jersey. But they were both busy.
You know, I just recently read 1984....
It seems like they don't go far enough.
Where are the daily meetings shouting at images they are conditioned to hate? Maybe they could be conditioned to get gainful employment. That would definately help the state.
Bacchan revelry is directly contradictory to Big Brother's control. Just denying TV doesn't go far enough. Come on, people.
Winston was a greater rebel than these pathetic people seem to be, and he was a quiet person with a great talent for writing(Snerk).
Down with Big Brother....
I like the cast
Hey, are there enough White People in this cast? Is there no Diversity (btw - I'm white). I guess CBS is now the "Caucasian Broadcasting System."
It's not always about race. It's about the personalities.
Most of the miniorty contestants we've had were generally disliked (Natalie, Chima, Michelle, Russell, Jessie). So it's not like casting more minorities will suddenly make the cast better.
And for the record, Brendon is Hispanic. You can tell by his last name "VILLEGAS". Just because he doesn't look it, doesn't mean he isn't.
It's just a guilty pleasure show. They're not candidates for political office or to run a major company.
Could we just do this show with ordinary people like in the beginning? These HGs look like they just stepped out of a fashion magazine. Yes, you have your token black and token gay...so where's the dwarf? BB casting get worse every year.
