'America's Got Talent': Fighting Gravity frat brothers wow judges
On the Tuesday, June 8 edition of the "America's Got Talent" auditions, judges and viewers were wowed by Fighting Gravity, a group of fraternity brothers whose glow-in-the-dark hoodies and tennis balls just may make them famous.
Though they say they haven't had any dance training at all, the college students look like professionals when the lights go out and four members of the group appear to be floating, thanks to some heavy lifting by their brothers.
Most of the boys study business and engineering. "Was this an engineering project?" new judge Howie Mandel asks. Even the critical Piers Morgan was captivated by the act. It's certainly not something we've seen before. All the frat boys we hung out with in college were way too busy building beer can pyramids to come up with something this innovative. We can't wait to see more.

This act was great... similar to Famous People Players in Toronto.
It's a really cool thing, but it's not an original idea. This has been done in Japan for quite a few years.
Still it's refreshing to see it brought to the states and on tv :)
I think these kids are Theta Chi's from Purdue. I am in a fraternity at Purdue as well. They performed this act almost exact at a talent philanthropy called Big Man On Campus a few months ago and from what I remember they won the talent portion of the philanthropy with this act. Or this is just some other group ripping them off.
These guys are Pikes from Virginia Tech - not Purdue. I've seen them perform this live at VT and it is really the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Congrats guysss!
shut it virginia tech. You tube Purdue BMOC Theta Chi 2010.
Purdue, you may be right that the Theta Chi's did it in 2010, but as a Pike Myself I've seen them perform on youtube awhole back, the Pikes at Virgina Tech did the performance for DG Anchorsplash in 2009.
I thought it was awesome Ive got it on dvr and will show it to everybody i can I hope they can go way beyond vegas and travel nationwide doing there show I hope to see it live someday
Purdue, youtube Dg anchorsplash Pike, 2009!. Im not sure about your school but at ours 2009 is a year before 2010.
To put an end to it, simply facebook search Fighting Gravity...you will obviously see they are in fact from Virginia Tech.
They are from VA Tech. My son's roommate is one of the performers. I know the boy and his parents.
