'American Idol' Siobhan Magnus performs with Hanson

Season 9 "American Idol" eliminee Siobhan Magnus has never been shy about the fact that she's a huge fan of Hanson -- yes, the "Mmm-Bop" guys. (You know you loved them.) She's even got a line from one of their songs tattooed on her wrist.Apparently, the admiration is mutual. Taylor Hanson invited Magnus to perform with him and his brothers Zac and Isaac at a secret midnight show in Los Angeles. Reality Rocks snuck into the rehearsals, where Siobhan fit in perfectly with the band because she'd "been practicing for 14 years."
"She showed up ready," Taylor says, adding that fans on the band's message board alerted them that Siobhan loved their music.
"Someone had written 'Did you see the girl with the Hanson sweatshirt at Hollywood week?'" Siobhan says, admitting that she checked out the forums as well. "And then someone posted, 'Well, if she's a Hanson fan, I bet she's reading this and laughing at us,' and I'm sitting there reading it and laughing."
"Thankfully she made it easy on us and she agreed to cover some of our own songs," Zac adds. "So we already knew them."
Hanson's latest album, "Shout It Out" was released on June 8. Check out Siobhan's rehearsal of "Weird" with the Hanson brothers below. Dreams do come true, kids.

You can't keep the real talent down. She's already moved on from American Idol and is singing with a band that has their own record label and has sold multiplatinum albums.
wish they let siobhan sing more solo parts
WOW! So happy for Siobhan!! She sounds perfect with them. I think Allison Iraheta's new mix of "Don't Waste The Pretty" w/ Orianthi sounds a little like Hanson in the chorus.
This girl is going to the top. She will be the real winner of season 9.I have never felt more confident about any Idol ever. This girl is real magic.
Good things happen to good people and the awesome thing is not only did Siobhan get one of her life's dreams checked off..as Magnus Tweeted:
"most tremendous night ever. BETTER THAN WINNING AMERICAN IDOL. I just sang Weird, BeenThereBefore, HoldOnI'mComin, AND MMMBOP with HANSON!!!"
But...
She also got major creds from the 3 Brothers as the girl that started as a fan 14 years ago and came into the talent and ability herself to now get right up there on stage with them. It apparantly went really well. Meshed nearly instantly in rehearsals and she contributed for a great show at the club. And Taylor told LA Times he thought she had it in her to be a big thing in the biz.
Siobhan Magnus - I think - really meant it. In her unique universe, "better than winning Idol"..
And kudos to the AI suits at 19Entertainment as well - for letting Siobhan sing a bit outside her Idol Tour contract with them. Now they have to claw the giddy thing down from the clouds and send her back to rehearsal grind!!
It seems as if for the last 2 or 3 weeks, no matter how good Siobhan sings, and no matter how hard she tries, the judges always say that she's not doing good enough, while the other contestants can sing absolute crap, and still get compliments. Tonight, Siobhan sang a Whitney Houston song the best anyone could have expected, and the judges still weren't impressed. Is this some sort of conspiracy? I think it's B.S, pure and simple.
Siobhan Magnus has proved one more time why, in David Letterman's words,” You Should be our American Idol"! She is so incredibly talented; there are not enough lines on this page to really describe her. She is just that versatile. In a short time all of those naysayers will be proven wrong.

Siobhan is growing more beautiful than in the american idol's weaks, sometimes I consider her as my best friend(I know it's day dreaming).
