'American Idol': David Archuleta debuts new songs at concert

At a recent concert at Brigham Young University's Rexburg, Idaho campus, "American Idol" Season 7 inalist David Archuleta debuted two new songs -- "Not a Very Good Liar" and "Parachutes and Airplanes", according to AI Now.The entire set list he performed included "Touch My Hand", "Barriers", "A Little Too Not Over You", "Somebody Out There", "Not a Very Good Liar", "My Hands", "You Can", "Works for Me", "Don't Let Go", "Your Eyes Don't Lie", "Parachutes and Airplanes", "Waiting for Yesterday", "To Be With You", "Zero Gravity", "Crush", "Imagine" and "Be Still My Soul".
There is no word yet as to when Archie's third album will be out, but he is finding time to work on it amidst promoting his memoir "Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song and the Power of Perseverance."

I love love love David but I'm disappointed with these new songs.
i like them both - navgl is hella catchy, parachutes and airplanes is too. david is in fine voice on paa, the falsetto is to die 4. these are most likely cuts being considered for the cd, not singles for release. i like them.
I love the new songs, but he needs a more dynamic ,young and energetic band to be on stage with him and make a Great show!!
I love the new songs! Bring on the new single!!! David's voice is so strong -- and what a concert last night! Wow...I can't stop watching the videos...I am in love with these songs along with songs from David's first album. I also just finished David's book -loved it and will be reading it again.

These songs are both great even though David said that he doesn't know if they will be on the album because they haven't picked the final songs. The album is supposed to be out this Fall (and the single out next month). I wish I had been at that concert last night. 17 songs!
