Who will win 'American Idol' 2010? Zap2it readers weigh in

Zap2it readers have been voting in our Crystal Bowersox vs. Lee DeWyze "American Idol" finale showdown gallery for the past week and with the winner being announced Wednesday, May 26 during the Season 9 finale, we're ready to reveal who the Zap2it readers pick as their winner.

So as of 9:30 a.m. PT on Wednesday, May 26, here are the poll results:

1. Top 12, Rolling Stones week: Crystal 62%, Lee 38%

2. Top 11, Billboard No. 1 Hits week: Crystal 69%, Lee 31%

3. Top 10, R&B/Soul week: Crystal 56%, Lee 44%

4. Top 9, Beatles week: Crystal 55%, Lee 45%

5. Top 8, Elvis week: Lee 53%, Crystal 47%

6. Top 7, Inspirational Songs week: Lee 50%, Crystal 50%

7. Top 6, Shania Twain week: Lee 62%, Crystal 38%

8. Top 5, Frank Sinatra week: Lee 63%, Crystal 37%

9. Top 4, Songs of Cinema week: Crystal 60%, Lee 40%

10. Top 3, Judges' and contestants' choice: Lee 65%, Crystal 35%

Interestingly, other than the hiccup on Songs of Cinema week, the polls reflect exactly what Kara DioGuardi said at the finale press conference -- Crystal has been steady all along, but Lee is the one who has grown throughout the season. Crystal seemed to "win" the finale night performances, but will that be enough?

The final poll by the Zap2it readers says the next "American Idol" is Crystal Bowersox by a margin of 55% to Lee's 45% of the vote.
