'The Vampire Diaries' behind the scenes: Isobel's back
Mia Kirshner returns to "The Vampire Diaries" tonight (May 6) at 8 p.m. She plays Elena's mom, Isobel, but the vampy, hot version, and she isn't exactly the woman Alaric married. When she finally meets up with Elena, it isn't the reunion she hoped for. Isobel isn't forthcoming with the information, but she is clear that there's something she'd kill to get her hands on.
