TV Ratings: 'Survivor' finale is CBS' hero Sunday
Fast National ratings for Sunday, May 16, 2010The other networks didn't stand a chance against CBS' three-hour "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" finale and results show, and this time the Eye Network got both the household ratings and adult demo bragging rights for the night. NBC's airing of the "Miss USA" pageant didn't fare so well, not even coming in second for its various time periods, but ABC's season finales gave the network a boost.
CBS averaged 12.2 million viewers and a 6.9 rating/12 share for the night, followed by ABC with 9.9 million and a 6.2/11, NBC (5.7 million, 3.7/6) and FOX (5.2 million, 3.0/5).
The coveted adult demo title went to CBS as a well with a 3.4 rating. ABC once again came in second with a 2.9, while FOX had a 2.4 and NBC, a 1.9.

CBS: "60 Minutes" (11.1 million viewers, 7.0/13 households)
ABC: "America's Funniest Home Videos" (7.2 million, 4.2/8)
NBC: "The 59th Annaual Miss USA Pageant" (4.4 million, 2.9/5)

DH was at the top of iits game last night. With the return of an old Character, the show will return to its ratings from the 1st and 2nd season. Esp with NBC reality block and CBS reality block, with older shows on Sundays. Boring!

Survivor has Russell on. One Troll in one year is enough for anyone!!! They don't need someone like that. I'm surprised he was out of jail.
Glad to see DH and B&S improve this week (both ratings and quality). Hope next season proves to be a better one.

i think russell got robbed again. he should have won both times. he outlasted and outplayed them all. that IS the object of the game, right? he didn't win because nobody liked him, and i don't think that is right. it is not a popularity contest. HE WAS THE BEST PLAYER!!!
