TV ratings: 'Idol' outscores 'Dancing,' CBS finales Tuesday

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, May 25, 2010The final performances of the season on "American Idol" carried FOX to a ratings win Tuesday, but ABC nearly scored an upset in total viewers thanks to the "Dancing With the Stars" finale.
FOX drew 15.55 million viewers and an 8.8 rating/14 share in households in primetime. ABC actually had better household numbers (9.7/16) and trailed FOX by only a few hundred thousand total viewers, averaging 15.2 million for the night. CBS (13.2 million, 8.3/13) was a solid third. NBC (8.6 million, 5.1/8) came in fourth with a pair of finales, while reruns on The CW (676,000, 0.5/1) were not a factor.
The race wasn't as tight among adults 18-49: FOX's 5.7 rating was far and away the night's best. NBC finished second in the demo with a 3.4, followed by ABC at 3.1 and CBS at 2.6. The CW earned a 0.3.

You guys aren't being very nice. I watched The Good Wife when it first started and I'm under 40. Now, I did stop watching it in mid season in favor of another show but still not everyone who watches GW is old.
The Good Wive is sure struggling, a great example why an older skewed show should be cancelled. Bet it gets low ad revenue and the qulaitylets face is is just bad. Its not Brothers and Sisters for sure, that show has the great Sally Field and not some ER has been.
Sad how bad the Idiols are this season, this guy is too fat and Crystal looks like and ugly version on Jewel. No talent at all.
I'm not surprised Good Wife was hit the hardest. All the old women abandoned the show last night to see who would win the mirror ball. For shame!
LOL... Hi Girl, how have you been? I was just talking about the lack of quality of this seasons Idiol. They just arent star material. But express an opinion on this site and the writers will PMS and delet the posts sad.
Crystal also M E O W ed on stage at the end of the shew last nite, ust like nasty Kara did earlier in the season. But I still have both of them. Oh, and btw, anutter butterflied leading tower de pizza night on powerhose ABCD. Leslie Moonpies is no match. Haha lol porr thing. Now off to Yogurt.

This is great for Idol! Hopefully the finale get 15-22 million 24 million tops for the finale. Idol is going down people!
I am sure the great Sally Field did the ER show as a favor. Er was always just a copy of Greys and Private Practice. Badly done show that used Cloony's sex apeal to sell it. Now they are all has beens, while Sally is still relavent.
@MOEW: last time I checked Sally Field is also an ER has been. Remember she played Abby's mother? But as usual you have selective memory. I for one absolutely love the Good Wife.
