'True Blood' fan screenings in June: Will you be 'coming out'?
HBO is hosting "True Blood" fan screenings across the nation to honor all the "Truebies" out there on June 1. Lucky fans will get to screen the Season 2 finale on the big screen and they'll get an extended preview of Season 3.
The screening events will be held in 50 NCM Cinema Network theaters across the country on June 1st at Midnight EST/ 9 p.m. PT. Doors open an hour earlier.
According to HBO, fans will also be treated to the "ultimate fan experience." The events will include a red carpet, giveaways, photographers who will snap photos of fans and a live Q&A session via satellite with select main cast members and the show's creator Alan Ball. The Q&A will also stream live at HBO.com.
There are several ways to get your tickets:
- Fans can enter to win VIP passes through a sweepstakes at the "True Blood" Facebook page between May 14 and May 28. Prepare to "come out" as either a vampire, shapeshifter, werewolf or fangbanger!
- VIP passes will also be dispersed through a national Best Buy partnership, local radio giveaways, and local HBO partners. So, keep a look out for those!
- General admission passes are also available at the "True Blood" Ultimate Fan Experience website. Seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.

This is dumb. How many theaters ? I guess the fan base isn't the big to only hold it in 50 theaters ? I'm sorry but it seems like a waste of time.
I attended the Ultimate Fan Experience and it was AWESOME! Especially the gift bag. I'm excited to see that they are introducing were panthers and fairies earlier than expected. I can't wait for the new season!
