'The Celebrity Apprentice': Bret Michaels wins, Holly Robinson-Peete still gets $250k

When Bret Michaels and Holly Robinson-Peete took the stage at the live "Celebrity Apprentice" finale event tonight, Donald Trump asked Michaels if he thought it was fair that he might get a sympathy vote. Michaels good-naturedly said that since Holly wore a "baby-making dress" and was clearly working the hotness angle, he'd "take a vote any way [he] can get it."Sympathy or not, Trump did say the coveted phrase to Bret Michaels tonight: "You're hired." As a result, Michaels will receive $250,000 dollars for his charity, the American Diabetes Association. In a surprise twist, Snapple donated an additional $250,000 to Peete's nonprofit, the HollyRod Foundation that helps families with autistic children.
Michaels walked with a noticeable limp when he took the stage, but he seemed to be in good spirits otherwise. This afternoon, Bret's private jet to New York City had to take a detour to Nashville when he felt too ill, but he did complete his journey. Medical professionals were standing by backstage during the finale.
Hopefully, Bret won't over-exert himself and will continue to make his health a priority. This week he's expected on "The Tonight Show" and "Today."

The Donald awards the one he thinks it would be cooler to hang with or would like to have as a Celebrity Friend - Annie outsmarted Joan Rivers and Holly outworked Bret but Bret had the "cool card" - his illness was a major twist in the game but i think even if he didnt get sick he wouldve won.

Sorry, but I can't help but believe the sympathy card was played here. Holly raised more money than anyone in the history of The Apprentice. She outworked and outshined him. After basically calling Holly a "slut" with his tasteless baby maker dress comment, he said he would welcome the sympathy vote. GAG! He may have meant it to be funny, but it was far from it!!!
I'm even more upset with Joan Rivers. She goes on about Brett's precious and beautiful daughter and that "emotion" is why he should win. All while Holly's boys are sitting in the audience basically being spit on by the washed out comedian.
I'm glad Snapple at least made some type of apology for Trump's bias!!!!
Bret did not ge a sympathy vote and did not insult Holly Robinson, and Joan Rivers didnt snub peetes boys. If you would have watched every show automom you would have seen Bret used his real self to win not influential friends to call for big money donations. God Bless you Bret anybody who almost dies and still hangs in there is a winner...

I did watch every episode. And I stand by my words. At least Holly never left during a task. Can't say the same thing for Brett.
Not to mention - putting Maria on her team for the final task was borderline cruel! She hated Holly!
And cry me a Rivers could have mentioned Holly's kids. It was intentional that she didn't. She didn't even want Brett in the finals! She fought for Sharon to be in there!
